Getting started

How do I create an account?

Sign up at getpaperplane.co.uk/register with your email address, or use Sign in with Apple. You will need to verify your email before you can use the app.

What is a travel group?

After registering, you create a travel group for your household, partner, family, or friends. Everyone in the group can see shared trips and stats. You can invite others by email from your group settings.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. PaperPlane is available on iOS and works alongside the web app at getpaperplane.co.uk/app. Sign in with the same account on both.

Trips & email import

How do I add a trip?

Add trips manually from your dashboard or the mobile app. Enter your destination, dates, flights, hotel details, and optional notes or cover photos.

Can I import trips from booking emails?

Yes. Forward airline, hotel, or travel confirmation emails to [email protected] from the email address linked to your PaperPlane account. We create a draft trip for you to review and publish.

Why did my forwarded email not create a trip?

Check that you forwarded from the same email address as your PaperPlane account, that the email contains booking details (or a PDF confirmation), and that you review any draft trips waiting in your dashboard. If it still does not appear, contact us with the approximate time you sent the email.

Plans & billing

What is included in the free plan?

The free plan includes up to five published trips, solo travel groups, flights, road trips, and basic stats. Draft trips from email import do not count toward the limit until you publish them.

What does Lifetime include?

Lifetime unlocks unlimited trips, the interactive 3D globe, shared travel groups, and a one-time payment with no subscription. Upgrade from your account on the web or in the app.

How do refunds work?

Lifetime purchases include a 14-day refund guarantee. Email us at [email protected] with your account email and we will help.

Account & privacy

I forgot my password

Use Forgot password on the sign-in page, or reset your password from the mobile app.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile settings on the web and delete your account. This removes your personal data from our systems. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Who can see my trips?

Trips are private to members of your travel group only. They are not publicly listed or searchable. See our Privacy Policy for more.
